Position Summary SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Procurement Analyst to support our support our Chesapeake Production Operation. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Related Field of Study and 1+ years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience primarily in Deltek CostPoint, otherwise SAP, or similar ERP software
  • Verbal and written communication skills, conflict resolution with outside vendors

Responsibilities

  • Receives confirmed REQs from MRP for all non-COTs
  • Acquiring quotes and updating Purchase REQs
  • Focused on vendor supply and vendor depth for all non-COTS
  • Complete Buying action and order tracking, accounting of partial, backorders, part obsolescence
  • Identifying risk elements of purchase – New or "Cold" vendor, new item, revised part, etc managing risk and lead time
  • Maintaining records of Vendor performance and lead times, updating CostPoint to improve planning
  • Overseeing Quality inspection of received parts, and developing MRR-Material Rejection Reports of non-conforming parts and vendor resolution.
