Position Summary SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Procurement Analyst to support our support our Chesapeake Production Operation. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Related Field of Study and 1+ years of relevant experience.
Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; is you possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply.

Nice To Haves

Preferred experience primarily in Deltek CostPoint, otherwise SAP, or similar ERP software
Verbal and written communication skills, conflict resolution with outside vendors

Responsibilities

Receives confirmed REQs from MRP for all non-COTs
Acquiring quotes and updating Purchase REQs
Focused on vendor supply and vendor depth for all non-COTS
Complete Buying action and order tracking, accounting of partial, backorders, part obsolescence
Identifying risk elements of purchase – New or "Cold" vendor, new item, revised part, etc managing risk and lead time
Maintaining records of Vendor performance and lead times, updating CostPoint to improve planning
Overseeing Quality inspection of received parts, and developing MRR-Material Rejection Reports of non-conforming parts and vendor resolution.
