About The Position

Within our Corporate Supply Chain and Procurement team located in Denver – Leprino is seeking a Procurement Analyst to support supplier approval, data accuracy, and purchasing systems across the business. This role begins hands-on, coordinating supplier documentation, system updates, and reporting that keep procurement moving smoothly. Over time, you will help bring consistency to how suppliers, materials, and data are maintained, supporting clearer processes for plants and category teams. You will work closely with Procurement, Quality, and plant partners to strengthen visibility, reduce gaps, and support steady improvement across our purchasing operations.   At Leprino, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $73,000 and $81,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 5%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3 years of supply chain or procurement experience in a corporate or manufacturing setting.
  • 2 years of hands-on experience with data analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
  • ERP system experience, including master data or transactional support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in business, supply chain, analytics, or a related field.
  • SAP experience supporting procurement, materials, or vendor master data.
  • Experience within food manufacturing or regulated production environments.
  • Familiarity with food safety, raw material planning, inventory coordination, and procurement workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Build clear reports, dashboards, and presentations that share procurement progress, risks, and improvement areas with category managers in both the Direct and Indirect space.
  • Write concise summaries that turn data into practical insights people can act on.
  • Analyze multiple datasets on tight timelines and highlight patterns that matter.
  • Coordinate supplier approval steps by gathering quality records, diversity certificates, NDAs, and insurance documents.
  • Track missing supplier documents and follow through until records are complete and accurate.
  • Support new supplier creation, pricing updates, and item setups within SAP.
  • Update approved vendor lists, source lists, and quality records to keep systems current.
  • Maintain reliable supplier documentation data so teams can trust what they see.
  • Provide backup support for the Senior Procurement Analyst during reporting cycles and system updates.
  • Build small process improvements that simplify workflows and reduce manual rework.
  • Partner across procurement, quality, and plant teams to resolve supplier service or quality questions.
