About The Position

Procurement Agent - Boeing Business Jets Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Agent (Level 3 or 4) to join our Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) Supply Chain team in Seattle, WA. As a BBJ Procurement Agent you will be working with suppliers that provide BBJ-specific products across the BCA portfolio. Primary duties include managing internal and external relationships with suppliers and internal partners, negotiating cost, terms & conditions, and adherence to financial goals and objectives. You may also be responsible for supporting sales & marketing campaigns, customer entitlements, and supplier rate readiness reviews.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Supplier Management or Supply Chain Management
  • 3+ years developing and managing supplier relationships
  • 3+ years of experience drafting, negotiating, and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
  • 3+ years of experience monitoring and managing supplier performance and cost
  • 3+ years of experience conducting data analysis in Excel, creating executive briefings in Powerpoint and delivering Presentations to Executive leadership teams
  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed 25%.
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Integrates program, customer, product and aftermarket strategies into source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies.
  • Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
  • Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
  • Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
  • Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
  • Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.
