About The Position

Procurement Agent, level 3/4 Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Procurement Agent, level 3 or 4 to join the Japan Contracts Team located in Everett, WA The Primary Structures Japan Contracts team performs continuous review and analysis of commercial activities. Including preparing and executing proprietary information agreements, supporting sourcing strategies and work transfers with internal teams, and progressing negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements. The ideal candidate proactively communicates performance expectations to suppliers, and evaluates and monitors supplier performance. Position Responsibilities: Manage, evaluate, and drive overall supplier performance to meet established expectations by developing strong professional relationships across the supply base, with customers, and among enterprise stakeholders Provide clear direction and guidance to suppliers; enforcing compliance with contractual and operational requirements Lead root-cause analysis and manage corrective and preventive actions with suppliers; oversee contested warranty claims and related resolution activities; oversee assertions Communicate timely, actionable performance-to-plan updates to leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, and customers using clear, concise verbal and written communication

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in supply chain processes
  • 5+ years of experience in negotiations, proposals, or contract evaluations
  • 5+ years of multi tasking
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years experience creating and developing strategy plans
  • 6+ years experience giving executive presentations
  • Experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry preferred
