About The Position
Goodwill Industries of Akron, OH is seeking an entry-level Processor / Retail Stock Associate. In this position, you will be responsible for sorting donated goods and textiles, ensuring they meet Goodwill's quality control standards. This involves inspecting various items such as textiles, furniture, appliances, household wares, novelty items, books, toys, decorations, and sporting goods for salability, including testing electronic merchandise for safe operation. You will then sort, hang, tag, price, and prepare these goods for resale, while also preparing accurate reports. The role also involves promoting the development of service participants and maintaining a safe and clean work area, operating equipment with attention to safety procedures. This position plays a vital role in supporting Goodwill's mission.

Responsibilities
- Sort donated goods and textiles to ensure Goodwill quality control standards are met
