Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, production, or processing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coach and motivate teams.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, track performance, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse processes and production scheduling.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work on-site in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ACAD or similar drawing/nesting software.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure production goals and operational targets are met.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate processing shop employees to promote growth and productivity.
  • Review production schedules, estimate work requirements, and assign daily tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Interpret blueprints, job orders, and material specifications for processing teams.
  • Optimize workflow by adjusting production methods and procedures as needed.
  • Monitor inventory and material flow through cycle counts and production reports.
  • Identify and implement improvements in efficiency, equipment performance, and product quality.
  • Track labor hours and reduce idle time through proactive planning.
  • Maintain accountability for tooling, supplies, and department resources.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Step in as needed to keep operations running smoothly and shipments on schedule.
