About The Position

This posting is for Emporia, Kansas Weekend Shift - F/S/S 5:00am - 5:00pm $21.11/hr The qualified candidate will possess the following: Read blueprints, drawings and cut list CNC experience Must communicate effectively to all departments and employees of the company Must show a positive attitude in position Computer skills with a knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook programs The operator must have complete knowledge of the laser and be able to perform routine cutting and troubleshooting efficiently and effectively The operator reviews the work orders from the sales department to verify quantities, specifications, process capabilities, delivery schedule, packaging requirements and availability The operator must ensure that the final product is finished and packaged to company and customer expectations Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner at all times Must be able to exert 20-50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or 10-25lbs. of force frequently, and/or 10-20lbs. constantly to move objects Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Norfolk Iron and Metal Co. is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements

• Must pass drug test and background check
• CNC experience
