About The Position

Our Processing Operators are critical to success at FritoLay! Our Process Operators are responsible for operating process-related equipment and plant process control systems in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. Although you will start out as a Process Operator for FritoLay, we are investing in helping you grow with us. In this role, here are some of the frequent tasks you will be doing: We are open 24 hours a day, which means you may not have a typical schedule, and our jobs are physical! If you have never worked in a warehouse or manufacturing environment before, you should understand that you will be on your feet for a majority of your shift around loud equipment. Requirements

• You are at least 18 years of age or older
• You will be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift
• You are able to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist (e.g. a twin-size mattress) with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You are able to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You are able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You are able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You are willing and able to work at heights using ladders or lifts to access areas of the plant

Responsibilities

• Monitoring process equipment and conditions using process control and process information systems (e.g., process levels, temperatures, pressures and flow rates)
• Collecting and reporting plant measurements related to performance, asset utilization, quality, and costs yields
• Performing analytical checks, adjusting control systems, and manually operated equipment based on process and lab data
• Determining root causes of deviations in process, product or equipment performance through use of troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
• Performing process equipment troubleshooting, routine equipment repairs, improvements and preventative maintenance
