Shift: Shift FB C: The regular hours for this position are Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday from 7:00am to 7:15pm. Job Description: The Process Technician is responsible for operating and monitoring semiconductor fabrication equipment in a cleanroom environment on a compressed work week schedule. This position will ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role requires technical aptitude, an understanding of fab processes, equipment functionality, adherence to operational protocols, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor semiconductor manufacturing equipment across assigned process areas (e.g., lithography, etch, deposition, CMP).
  • Perform routine equipment checks, basic troubleshooting, and escalate issues to maintenance or engineering teams.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process control plans.
  • Ensure product quality by performing inspections and measurements using metrology tools.
  • Record production data, equipment status, and process deviations in manufacturing systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and yield enhancement initiatives.
  • Participate in equipment startup, shutdown, and changeover activities.
  • Maintain compliance with cleanroom protocols, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Participate in training programs and assist in onboarding new technicians.

  • Identify and communicate opportunities for process optimization and workflow improvements.
