Job Summary: A hands-on processing position focused on startup and support of daily activities in molding operations including line clearance and related paperwork. Certain shifts will be assigned specific duties to support planning or other company initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong team player, self-motivated.
  • Excellent problem skills with attention to detail.
  • Computer experience in Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • 1-2 years of experience in contract manufacturing.
  • High School/Trade School Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mold, robot and machine setups.
  • Perform all production startups after mold changes
  • Understand and support material handling as required
  • Support and train for any necessary paperwork including process summary sheets
  • Regular Attendance and professionalism.
  • Write mold work orders to ensure repairs are properly addressed
  • Perform and maintain all ISO procedures and train personnel accordingly.
  • Maintain DMRs to ensure all instructions are accurate and up to date. Work directly with Process Engineering for updates.
  • Interact with Quality, Tool Room, Maintenance and Engineering to solve day-to-day manufacturing issues.
  • Perform daily checks on molds, machines, robots and all other related equipment.
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping.
  • Implement and support Lean practices (5-S, Poka-Yoke, Kanban, SMED, Etc.)
