About The Position
Job Description Job Requirements Qualifications Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of experience, OR PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
Requirements
- Strong foundation in solid mechanics and material behavior
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) tools (e.g., Abaqus, Ansys, or similar)
- Ability to translate complex problems into mathematical and computational models
- Strong programming and analytical skills to support modeling and simulations
- Experience designing experiments and validating model results
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Ability to work effectively across global and cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Analytical mindset with a focus on solving complex technical challenges
Nice To Haves
- Experience with open-source FEA tools
- Knowledge of thin film or coating mechanics
- Experience with process or product engineering environments
- Familiarity with materials testing techniques
- Experience working with diverse materials such as polymers or similar systems
