Process Sciences Cell Culture Associate - 2nd Shift (Entry Level)
About The Position
Join our Process Sciences team and gain real hands‑on experience in cell culture and bioprocessing. This role is perfect for individuals who are excited about lab work, learning new techniques, and contributing to meaningful scientific projects. What You’ll Do Work both independently and collaboratively in a client‑focused lab environment Support small‑scale experiments and essential lab operations, such as: Media and buffer preparation Aliquoting and aseptic transfers Bioreactor builds and probe calibrations Autoclaving and general lab support Run cell culture experiments from shake flask to bioreactor Assist with sample analysis and maintain accurate, organized records Opportunities to Grow You'll get the chance to: Contribute to workflow improvements in the Process Sciences labs Support development of planning/scheduling tools or lab metrics automation Help refine team training programs Co‑lead studies involving raw material testing or manufacturing investigations Participate in continuous improvement initiatives This role offers excellent exposure to upstream bioprocessing, cross‑functional teamwork, and real-world project ownership. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, or a related field
- Hands-on technical lab experience and demonstrated competence in basic lab techniques
- Strong focus, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM shifts when needed.
- Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY and the surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.

Nice To Haves
- Experience with mammalian cell culture using aseptic technique (preferred)
- Familiarity with small‑scale fed-batch bioreactors (2L) (preferred)
- cGMP experience is a plus
