About The Position

The PSM Administrator is responsible for maintaining and supporting the company’s Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Program compliance systems. This role ensures that all documentation, training records, and program elements are accurately maintained, up to date, and audit ready. The PSM Administrator works closely with maintenance, human safety, and EHS teams to promote a strong process-oriented safety culture and regulatory compliance across all covered processes.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or chemical processing environment required.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Safety, Chemical, or Engineering field preferred. Equivalent experience in process safety or EHS administration will be considered.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and related process safety regulations.
  • Experience supporting PSM or RMP programs strongly desired.
  • Knowledge of APSM management software and SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all documentation required under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119 (PSM) and EPA 40 CFR Part 68 (RMP) regulations.
  • Track and update PSM program elements including:
  • Process Safety Information (PSI)
  • Mechanical Integrity (MI) records
  • Management of Change (MOC) documentation
  • Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and action item tracking
  • Training records and SOP verification
  • Incident investigations and corrective actions
  • Manage and organize PSM databases, ensuring accurate data entry and document control.
  • Support internal and external audits, compliance inspections, and corporate reviews.
  • Coordinate scheduling and documentation for PHAs, MOCs, and compliance audits.
  • Maintain contractor safety documentation in accordance with PSM and facility policies.
  • Assist with communication and training initiatives related to PSM and RMP elements.
  • Generate and distribute PSM performance metrics, reports, and dashboards.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts within the PSM and EHS programs.
  • Ensure timely completion and follow-up of compliance-related tasks and corrective actions.
