You'll monitor equipment, adjust settings, and work closely with quality and maintenance teams to ensure every fry meets our high standards. When you choose a career with us, every day is fry-day!
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- ï¸ Ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and rotating schedules
- ï¸ Comfortable using computers, touchscreens (HMI), and 2-way radios
- ï¸ Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- ï¸ Willingness to complete required training (Sanitation, Lock-out/Tag-out)
- ï¸ Forklift certification preferred (or ability to become certified)
- ï¸ Understanding of safe lifting techniques and chemical handling
Nice To Haves
- Experience in food processing or manufacturing
- Familiarity with optical sorters, LADRES, or similar equipment
- A proactive mindset and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Operate and adjust processing equipment to maintain smooth line flow and product quality
- Monitor waste levels, blend rates, and product consistency using process control systems
- Start, stop, and sequence equipment for cut changes, downtime, and emergencies
- Perform water system operations to maintain quality and minimize usage
- Communicate with QA, maintenance, and leadership to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct quality checks (peel loss, salinity, grid checks) and enter data into QA systems
- Maintain sanitary conditions and support weekend cleanups and sanitation duties
- Own equipment from even-flow bins through fryers and freeze tunnels
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Participate in safety programs and demonstrate leadership in plant safety culture
