About The Position

Mars Wrigley- Process Machine Operator- Elizabethtown, PA $25.40/hour + $1.50/hour Shift Premium (rotating shift only) This site manufactures DOVE Chocolate Current Shift Schedule 4-Shift Rotation: Rotates between: 4th Shift: Week Off 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM Weekday Shifts: 8-hour shifts (Monday–Friday) Weekend Shifts: 12-hour shifts (off every other weekend) Future Shift Schedule: In 2026: Transition from rotating to fixed shifts (specific details still in discussion) Description of Role: Process Machine Operators are responsible for, but not limited to, product and machine changeovers, hourly quality checks, cleaning-in-place (CIP), continuous improvement recommendations and assisting Production Coordinators and the Maintenance team when necessary. What are we looking for? Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing role Basic analytical and mathematical skills Proficient using laptops, iPads, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Email, etc.) Physical Requirements: Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs) Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping. Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces. Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English. Preferred Qualifications: 4 or more years of experience in manufacturing Food or beverage manufacturing experience Maintenance knowledge or capabilities Fork lift experience What will be your key responsibilities? Ensure operational efficiency, conformance to standards, product quality and drive continuous improvement. Responsible for the efficient production of quality products. Operate, monitor, and perform changeovers on machinery Train and assist other associates as needed, supporting Production Coordinators and the Maintenance team. Conduct temperature checks, complete Critical Control Point (CCP) and Operational Prerequisite Program (OPRP) checks daily. Maintain accurate records of quality checks and keep detailed logbooks. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
