We are looking for a Process Operator to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Beaumont, TX. Come create chemistry with us! As a Process Operator you will support Dicamba Unit Operations and be responsible for all process control within assigned area. You will also analyze routine operating and analytical problems, exercises judgment, and takes appropriate action and will initiate corrective action for substandard performance in processes/equipment. During your rotating shift as a Process Operator, you will Maintain control of process. Catch samples for laboratory testing. Receive, interpret, and act upon analytical results to keep process within parameters. Notify Supervisor of abnormalities and corrective measures taken, such as notifying the status of assigned area including work requests, lists for overhauls, and shutdowns through verbal communication and written logs as well as act upon Supervisor instructions. Troubleshoot process issues, product quality issues, environmental and safety issues, and input work notifications for equipment in need of maintenance as well as communicate status of assigned area to relief. Coordinate with operating personnel in related functions including assisting other operators in their areas and assisting in training of other operators and also coordinate mechanical activities in assigned area including clearing and tagging equipment prior to mechanical work, following job progress, and accepting equipment upon completion of work, including satisfactory housekeeping. Cross train to be ready to cover all other operator positions in other areas as requested by Supervisor. Adhere to plant safety rules, regulations, and company EH&S policies/procedures Keep abreast of operating and equipment changes made in assigned area that are tracked through the Management of Change process. Maintain thorough knowledge of all equipment and operations, especially procedures for emergency shutdown and start-up and maintain logs on equipment seals and vent systems. Maintain records of leaks until repaired. React immediately to any leaks or spills and report to Supervisor as soon as possible. May be required to work with waste that is deemed to be hazardous by RCRA or other regulation. Be required to join our Emergency Response Team for Fire and HAZMAT response and participate in regular associated trainings for these teams. Have potential to advance to a control board operator who monitors DCS and maintains control of process.
