About The Position

Process Operators are responsible for the following but not limited to: product/machine changeovers, hourly quality checks, CIPs (clean in place), product quality (weight, appearance, etc.) as well as assisting Production Coordinators and the Maintenance team when issues arise.

Requirements

High school or GED
3+ years of experience in a hands on manufacturing role
Basic analytical and math skills
Comfortable and able using laptops, ipads and Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Email, etc)
Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.) and frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.).
Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping.
Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment.
Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).
Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to support production needs and to conduct multi-task work in a very fast paced work environment
Able to read, write, speak and understand English

Nice To Haves

4+ years of experience in a hands on manufacturing role
Experience in a food or beverage manufacturing area
Maintenance knowledge or capabilities
Fork lift experience

Responsibilities

System experts in their assigned area and are highly functional in multiple areas.
Ensures efficiency, operational conformance, product quality and continuous improvement.
Directly responsible for the efficient production of quality products in the required quantities.
Operate, monitor and change over machinery while providing problem resolution
Train and perform the tasks of other associates in the area as needed and support the PC and Maintenance team
Complete temper checks, capable of working in team atmosphere as well as working independently, complete CCP and OPRP checks daily.
Maintain accurate records of quality checks and keep detailed logbooks.
