About The Position

We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins. This position works M-F, with a flexible 1st shift schedule/hours. Job Summary: Operate equipment used to manufacture detection products. Weigh, measure and check raw materials to ensure that batches manufactured contain proper ingredients in proper quantities. Maintain inventory records of raw materials used in batch manufacturing. Keep accurate and up-to-date batch records and data sheets on batches in process. Perform in-process tests (such as hardness, weight, variation, pH and moisture content) to ensure that batches meet specifications. Recognize equipment and product problems, notify supervisor and/or troubleshoot errors in order to achieve optimum production levels. Must be able to follow written Standard Operating Procedures and verbal instructions in order to fabricate, inspect, and package chemical-based products. Good organizational skills and relevant computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office) are required for maintaining production records. The ability to safely handle lab equipment/tools and chemicals is required.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and excellent communication skills.
  • Good manual dexterity, meticulous attention to detail, and an interest/ability to quickly learn new work operations.
  • Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an assembly or production environment a plus.
  • Prior lab equipment experience or background in chemistry/biology a plus.
