About The Position

The Process Manufacturing Technician I will work with moderate oversight and be responsible for the duties associated with developing, supporting and analyzing product manufacturing processes and supporting product quality standards. This position will assist with the development, evaluation, and implementation of process improvements and new processes. This is a night shift position, working a 2-3-2 schedule, 6:55pm to 7:00am.

  • Capable of following established technical guidelines and procedures
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical design concepts, manufacturing techniques, manufacturing/equipment processes
  • High School education or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Trade school or associates degree preferred
  • Working knowledge of cable manufacturing processes and materials, preferred
  • Working knowledge of standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot existing machine operations and auxiliary processes and make necessary changes for optimum performance
  • Collect and analyze data to support process improvements.
  • Work with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues related to production or product quality
  • Perform process sheet revisions as necessary and maintain accurate records of process changes.
  • Train operators on new processes and/or communicate changes to existing processes
  • Interact and initiate conversations with the engineering, production and quality teams
  • Perform toolroom functions as necessary
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment by complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Perform other duties as designated by the direct supervisor
