The Manufacturing/Process Engineering I for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible to ensure quality meets desired standards, compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards, provides training to personnel on new processes, equipment and procedures and track and meet key performance indicators. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Technical Operations and is part of the Manufacturing Technical Operations team located in Miami FL . In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Solve technical issues and delays in production by driving to root cause. Develop, enhance, maintain and implement manufacturing methods, techniques, processes, and tooling on fabricated parts, components, subassemblies, and final products. Coordinate the implementation of changes due process changes, product enhancements/revisions, and new product launches to ensure smooth transition to production floor ensuring all quality and validation requirements are met. Participate in Kaizen and process improvements events using the Danaher Business System (DBS) tools.

Requirements

  • Have strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues on electromechanical devices and systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in field with 0-2 years’ experience OR Master’s degree in field with 0-2 years’ experience (Engineering degrees in mechanical or electrical preferred)
