About The Position

As a Senior Associate Process Manager on the Enterprise Payments Strategy & Analytics team, you will be part of a highly collaborative, talented team responsible for leveraging data and analysis to identify and propose improvements to address the root cause and create greater value for Enterprise Payments and our customers. The Process Manager Senior Associate will play a key role in improving processes that impact the company’s bottom line with enabling a valuable customer experience. In this position you will contribute immediately while strengthening your data, analytical and process best practices. We are seeking a dedicated, disciplined, professional who excels in a team environment. This person will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and have the ability to adapt to change quickly. This role requires frequent collaboration with multiple teams across Retail Bank to increase value add activities while ensuring we are mitigating risk to enable the best customer experience. General Responsibilities: Day to day oversight of multiple processes which could include Risk management of defects and or controls Monitor, report, and plan process improvement or redesign initiatives Identify process improvement opportunities and implement them through collaboration with other groups such as the Risk office, Tech and management Make final recommendations for approval on changes Collect, analyze, and measure process data to initiate sustainable business practices and procedures and for reporting to senior leadership and executives; review data for trends and gaps in the process that may require additional review Establish an environment of continuous improvement where we are constantly leaning into technology to drive standardization and improvements Escalate process or control breakdowns by identifying and engaging appropriate stakeholders. Resolve complex risk defects, problems, or transactions by interpreting controls, policies, guidelines, and procedures Support business partners and processes through the maintenance of formal process documents (e.g. procedures, work instructions, process artifacts and diagrams), and document processes, controls, risk management activities and projects (creating project reports, presentations, business cases, and diagrams) Using a variety of techniques and tools to define, manage and improve processes, like Visual Management, Business Process Management, Lean, and Six Sigma Excellent written and oral communication skills, coupled with strategic influence to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills Sustain a Well-Managed/process-driven environment and remediate process breakdowns through analysis and methodical solutioning to complex problems Collaborate on broader process change initiatives and represent department interests; may participate in cross-functional project teams, including projects driven by other parts of the organization The successful candidate will: Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. They’re comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy cutting through distractions to discern priorities and create structure when none exists Utilize excellent communication and partnership skills, which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes while leveraging data Understand the big picture but is also able to execute with close attention to detail Build relationships and influence across levels and functions Ask why, explore, and want to learn Location: West Creek 5 (Richmond, VA) and Center 2 (McLean, VA) - this role is hybrid, where you will be expected to spend 3 days per week working in office and the remainder of the week working virtually.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in Business Process Management, Project Management, Relationship Management, Risk Management, or Control Testing
  • At least 1 year of Project or Process Management Experience
  • At least 1 year of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in Business Process Management, Project Management, Relationship Management, Risk Management, or Control Testing
  • Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification
