Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering or other related degree or a vocational certificate/diploma. A combination of education and lean manufacturing experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years' experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship is not offered.

Responsibilities

  • Support lean manufacturing concepts and practices that support efficiency gains.
  • Define standard processes and tools to ensure that processes are executed properly.
  • Review & improve processes, equipment reliability, repairs and performance.
  • Define / execute on standards for Breakdown Elimination (BDE) minor issues execution (6W2H) and major issues execution (root-cause analysis).
  • Follow up with Lift Drivers to ensure that any defects were handled properly.
  • Support lift Drivers in identifying and solving problems that caused breakdowns.
  • Determine planned maintenance needs and prioritize work orders / schedule the process for conducting planned maintenance.
  • Ensure constant communication with the maintenance department to establish area priorities through Continuous Improvement.
  • Reduced negative impact of maintenance needs and machine reliability.
  • Support CI Pillar and Reliability Management Pillar.
  • Communicate any procedural issues with suppliers.
  • Support large / small scale projects / modifications in area including machine parts design.
  • Continuously improve standards and processes.
  • Execute product development/qualification process.
  • Document management (standard operating procedures "SOP's").
