Position Summary Seeking an individual contributor with Process Integration experience or knowledgeable of multiple unit processes such as Lithography, Etch, Thin Film deposition for example. The scope of the job is 28nm node and above. The Process Integration Engineering (PIE) team is focused on incoming technology transfer, productization, new product introductions, yield improvement, process margin improvement, cycle time reductions and other KPI improvements. Role and Responsibilities • Knowledgeable in unit part processes used to fabricate planar MOSFETs and interconnects. • Understands the critical interactions between processes and reasons for applications of materials / chemistries and patterning techniques. • Enhances knowledge of fabrication sensitivities impacting device performance, yield, packaging and reliability. • Duties will include problem solving related to reliability/packaging claims, depressed yield, in line trend shifts, new product introductions(NPI), integration margins and resolving process/integration weaknesses. • Focus on maintaining and improving processes for mass production. • Proven ability to assess KPI gaps and generate and execute improvement plans without significant oversight. Work with process groups when necessary to attain objectives. • Demonstrate total product ownership • Design, execute, and analyze experiments. • Experience with 8D reporting. • Work days and hours: Typically Mon-Fri 8-5 but off hour activities and coverage may be required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher, in physics, electrical engineering or STEM-related field.
  • Experience in Yield or Process Integration in semiconductor manufacturing is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry and Master's is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with LSI manufacturing processes is strongly preferred.
