Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and department of health requirements.
  • Continuously monitor and react to long term production costs and efficiency trends
  • Assist product development on new tool designs, start-ups and samples.
  • Set priorities and direct the Process Improvement Team in day to day activities.
  • Establish short and long term goals to optimize uptime and efficiency
  • Track progress on goals to keep results on target while meeting deadlines
  • Develop and implement capital projects that will reduce costs and improve operating efficiency.
  • Aid in the testing of new resins and material substitutions.
  • Prioritize machine/mold issues to develop data driven root-cause analysis and corrective action plans along with short and long term preventive maintenance plans.
  • Optimize facility production cell layouts to increase safety and efficiency.
  • Communicate with the quality department to react to any daily production issues and help develop customer feedback on any concerns.
  • Lead and mentor others to aid in the development of personnel
