The Process Improvement Manager leads a team responsible for driving continuous improvement across the Stuttgart facility. This role partners with cross-functional leaders to identify performance gaps, analyze current processes, and implement sustainable improvements that enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The manager utilizes Lean Six Sigma and data-driven problem-solving to support business objectives, improve process capability, and strengthen daily operational performance. This position works closely with senior leadership to promote a culture of continuous improvement and ensure alignment with overall business strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement.
  • Strong working knowledge of Lean tools (VSM, 5S, Standard Work, Kaizen, problem-solving).
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SPC).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering measurable improvement results.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in HVAC, high-mix manufacturing, or metal assembly environments.
  • Experience on lean transformation – 5 years
  • Coaching experience in continuous improvement or Lean practices.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Directly manage and develop a small CI team.
  • Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to identify and close process gaps.
  • Analyze workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and implement optimized solutions.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, root-cause analysis, and standardized work improvements.
  • Track project impact and communicate results to site leadership.
  • Coach leaders and teams on Lean principles and best practices.
  • Support the deployment of daily management practices, problem-solving tools, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers when needed to support improvement projects.
