As a Process Improvement Analyst at Sensient Agricultural Ingredients, you will work closely with people across manufacturing and operations to turn ideas into practical improvements. Your work will help teams solve problems, reduce waste, and build consistent ways of working that support safety, quality, and productivity. This role is ideal for someone who likes being visible on the floor, collaborating with diverse partners, and using data and structured thinking to drive positive change.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, operations, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry experience (agricultural ingredients, food, chemical, or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred) with a focus in process improvement
  • Working knowledge of Lean tools (Lean Practitioner, Lean Bronze/Yellow Belt) and demonstrated knowledge of Lean principles required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to influence without authority
  • Comfort working across teams and balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting

Responsibilities

  • Partner with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to identify and deliver process improvements
  • Apply continuous improvement and Lean principles (value stream mapping, standard work, 5S, root cause analysis, visual management) to evaluate current processes and design improved approaches
  • Collect and analyze operational data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Support the resolution of process and equipment challenges alongside operations and maintenance teams
  • Participate in and help lead improvement projects, workshops, and cross functional teams that deliver measurable results
  • Create and maintain clear process documentation, standard operating procedures, and work instructions to support consistent execution
  • Help reinforce a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement across the site
