About The Position

Responsible for a team of process engineers and technicians accountable to support development activities across a range of InP and GaAs new products being developed in Sherman for future mass production. Lead and manage 6-10 engineers and 4-8 process technicians.

Requirements

• Minimum # yr. experience should be 10 years in a process engineering role preferably with management experience.
• BS/MS in an Engineering field or equivalent degree / experience.
• Leadership capabilities to demonstrate strong execution capabilities in a rapidly changing and high priority environment.
• Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills.
• Work effectively with other members of Coherent integration, program management and executive teams.
• All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
• To conform to U.S. Government export regulations (ITAR), applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8. U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a team of process engineers and technicians accountable to support development activities across a range of InP and GaAs new products being developed in Sherman for future mass production.
• Lead and manage 6-10 engineers and 4-8 process technicians.
• Execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
• Ensure adherence to company's values (ICARE) in all aspects of your position at Coherent Corp.
