About The Position

The Role: Our site in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Process Engineering Intern to join our team for the Summer 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 12-14 weeks in duration, beginning in May 2026.

Requirements

  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft, CAD)
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional departments.
  • Maintain focus and progress with daily and weekly updates to mentor
  • Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM
  • Must be a currently enrolled student
  • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May/June through August/September.
  • Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in an internship program
  • Sitting, standing, and walking: The ability to remain seated, standing, or move about on foot for varying durations.
  • Lifting and carrying: The ability to raise or lower objects from one level to another (lifting) or transport objects, often by hand or arm (carrying).
  • Working in various environments: The ability to work inside cleanrooms, wearing cleanroom garments including coveralls, hoods, masks, gloves and shoe covers.
  • Wearing personal protective equipment: The ability to safely and effectively use equipment like safety glasses, gloves and shoes.

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related engineering major
  • Graduation of 2026 or 2027

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate engineering samples to validate and qualify new methods
  • Lead validation and qualification of new equipment, mold, cameras
  • Create work instructions for operations
  • Evaluate and update routing and cycle times
  • Evaluate and update scrap factor for top part numbers
  • Review and update master cycle sheets
  • Integrate equipment into Entegris network
  • Learn how to create new documents, processes, fixtures in SAP
  • Implement creative solutions to prevent problems in the future
