Award Winning - Employee Owned - Comprehensive Benefits Relocation Assistance - Ownership Opportunity - Continuing Education Support As a Process Engineer in Ripon, WI, you may: Apply hands-on experience in manufacturing processes to optimize production workflows and ensure consistent output; Evaluate current operations, identify potential safety risks, and develop solutions to mitigate hazards while promoting a culture of workplace safety; Lead initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency through data-driven analysis and continuous improvement methodologies; collaborate on planning and execution of capital projects, including equipment upgrades, facility enhancements, and technology integration to support long-term growth; provide assistance with fixture development and usage to improve product consistency, reduce cycle times, and support new product introductions; and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineer required
  • 2+ years of engineering experience in a metal manufacturing environment preferred; internships and co-op experience can be considered towards experience
  • Knowledge of fixture design, implementation, and optimization
  • Experience in Lean manufacturing techniques, capability studies, process mapping, FMEA, and root cause analysis
  • Capable of working independently and as a team member
  • Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset
  • Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Desire to work on a variety of projects
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Creo and/or AutoCAD experience a strong plus
