As a Process Engineer, you'll play a critical role in shaping how we create our iconic, high-quality kitchenware. You will determine baseline capabilities of machinery and processes throughout our factory, and work to increase efficiency and ROI for each of your projects. You'll work cross-functionally in a dynamic, hands-on environment, analyzing data and making real improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years in a high-volume manufacturing environment, with strong hands-on experience in plastic injection molding.
  • Proven skill in statistical analysis (SPC, DOE, regression) and data acquisition.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar CI methodologies.
  • Proficiency with CAD for tooling or fixture layouts-SolidWorks, AutoCAD; ability to read and interpret GD&T drawings.
  • Comfortable navigating ERP systems for routings, BOMs, and data retrieval.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with related processes such as metal forming or coatings is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Map each assigned process, identify key input & output variables, and baseline current capability (Cp/Cpk).
  • Design experiments and sampling plans.
  • Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools to determine variable impact, establish control limits, and flag leading indicators.
  • Translate findings into realistic product specs, tolerances, and work instructions that operators can live with.
  • Collaborate with QA to embed specs into our ERP & documentation systems.
  • Lead Kaizen and Six Sigma projects to reduce scrap, cycle time, energy use, and ergonomic risk.
  • Track and report return on investment (ROI) for each project.
  • Assist with new tooling trials; define machine settings & PM checkpoints that lock in capability from day one.
  • Integrate new software and hardware technologies into manufacturing to support production team members and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Product Design & Development, and Tool Room departments daily.
  • Train operators and technicians on new standards and control plans.
  • Use your strong communication skills to simplify technical language and processes to be understood by non-technical audiences.
