Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in an Engineering or related discipline preferred
  • 3+ years in Engineering in a related industry
  • Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated CI project leadership.
  • Working knowledge of SPC and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to influence across functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • AutoCAD skills a plus
  • Experience with automation, controls, or data analytical tools.
  • Six Sigma training preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a prioritized Continuous Improvement (CI) roadmap aligned with plant and business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate process control documents by ensuring all documents are current, concise, and agree with BOM’s.
  • Establish, monitor, and improve critical process parameters using SPC, control plans, and data analytics.
  • Own assigned manufacturing processes, ensuring stable, capable, and repeatable performance.
  • Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and DMAIC projects delivering measurable improvements in safety, quality, cost, and throughput.
  • Control all other process-related documents and ensure they are current.
  • Partner with R&D, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations during trials and launches.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations, scrap, downtime, and quality issues.
  • Champion process safety and risk reduction through PFMEA, job hazard analysis, and standard work.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
