About The Position

Milacron is looking for a Process Engineer to join our team in McPherson, KS or Batavia, OH. Work You’ll Do: Ability to work in a team setting and independently to solve technical problems and deliver engineering solutions Understand requirements and convert requirements into engineering work products Respond to requests from Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, and other functional groups Take full accountability of personal work Works within set priorities for workflow Develops and proposes solutions to difficult problems Analyzes specifications and performance requirements to develop cost-effective designs Checks designs and details for technical accuracy and recommends revisions Provides technical support for manufacturing and assembly Has an understanding of estimating time on tasks, setting priorities, planning short term and long-term goals, project monitoring, and time management

Requirements

  • 2+ years of progressive engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • General knowledge of cross-functional engineering processes
  • General knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools
  • High Proficiency in learning new software.
  • Structured Decision making and documentation
  • Problem solving skills based on structured data analysis
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
  • Working knowledge of metal machining practices, principles and technologies
  • Working Knowledge of Creo/PDM, E1 & Windchill
  • Experience in AutoCAD and other Design Software
  • Demonstrated proficiency in mathematics
  • Awareness of machine safety/ANSI, ISO standards
  • Working knowledge of Advanced Metrology principles and practices
