Requirements

  • Knowledge of Microwave electronics and or semiconductor manufacturing is a plus.
  • Automatic wire bonding and die attach experience is required.
  • Capable of following manufacturing procedures and performing hands on assembly of manufacturing prototypes.
  • Capable of training operators in process operations.
  • Knowledge in materials associated with Chip and Wire assemblies (silver epoxies , bonding Wire, Encapsulants).
  • Requires a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
  • BS or Master in EE, Physics, Materials Science or related Discipline.
  • Computer Literate with basic programming skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to vendors, customers and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to solve technical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Preferred relevant internships in micro electronics assembly.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and updating work instructions related to specific assembly processes.
  • Prototype builds related to new products.
  • Process flow diagrams.
  • PFMEA, PCP and OCAP.
  • Implementation of Lean/Continuous improvement.
  • Conducting risk assessments on equipment.
  • Continuous improvements on new/existing equipment.
  • Time studies on processes and equipment.
