Your Role: Process Engineer As a Process Engineer, you will be a key technical expert on the Process Team, providing critical support to our manufacturing operations in Fort Dodge. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement of the equipment and processes used to produce life-changing animal health products. You will have the opportunity to lead capital improvement projects, reduce process variability, and enhance the overall safety and efficiency of our site.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in an engineering role.
  • Top Skills: Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions; Strong communication and project management abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a regulated industry, such as animal health or human pharmaceuticals.
  • Strong working knowledge of cGMP regulations (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11).
  • Hands-on project management experience involving system design, validation, and deployment for production control systems.
  • Prior experience working closely with manufacturing personnel to develop process control requirements.
  • Proficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and/or support capital and non-capital projects through their full lifecycle, from initial scoping and design to final execution and validation, acting as a key technical expert.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and asset steward for assigned manufacturing equipment, maintaining deep knowledge of design basis, control strategies, and process hazards to ensure operational readiness.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes and equipment by analyzing data, identifying opportunities to reduce variability, and working collaboratively with maintenance and production teams to implement robust solutions.
  • Maintain and generate critical documentation, including P&IDs and process flow diagrams, ensuring that all processes and changes are compliant with cGMP, safety regulations, and quality standards (e.g., Change Control, CAPAs).
  • Provide 24/7 technical support to manufacturing operations, troubleshooting process and equipment issues, and proactively championing safety by identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
