The Associate II, Manufacturing Production Process Engineering (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for designing and implementing efficient production processes for mass production, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues, and guiding technical specifications. This position drives technology‑based problem solving, on‑the‑floor support, and continuous improvement to ensure safe, compliant, efficient manufacturing operations. Specifics include: Handle highly complex tasks and support the development of advanced engineering projects using strong technical expertise. Design, develop, and implement efficient mass‑production processes, including optimal equipment layout and production sequencing. Specify procedures for fabricating tools and equipment and adapting machinery or processes to factory conditions. Conduct tests at all stages of production to control variables, validate process performance, and troubleshoot issues. Provide guidance to product design engineering on specifications that optimize manufacturability and equipment capabilities. Ensure full compliance with GxP regulations by following SOPs, maintaining accurate documentation, implementing quality controls, and completing all required training. Make strategic, data‑driven decisions within assigned tasks to improve project performance and operational efficiency. Identify and implement process improvements that increase yield, material utilization, throughput, and long‑term process stability. Provide daily on‑the‑floor support by troubleshooting equipment, workflow, and material issues; perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Support proper care, usage, and calibration readiness of production‑owned tools and equipment, partnering with Calibration and Maintenance as needed. Analyze yield, scrap, throughput, and equipment performance data; develop engineering recommendations and technical reports based on findings. Contribute to nonconformance investigations and CAPA activities; update SOPs, work instructions, and processing documentation in collaboration with Quality. Participate in workflow redesigns, kaizen events, and 5S initiatives to improve process flow, productivity, and equipment performance. Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, MS&T, and Engineering to ensure alignment on process adjustments, equipment changes, trials, and readiness across all shifts. Ensure consistent application of process standards and training materials across four shifts by partnering with Training and Production leadership. Support engineering studies, equipment qualifications, and process trials in compliance with ISO, GMP, and FDA requirements. Recommend new equipment, digital tools, or automation solutions to enhance capability, reduce variation, and modernize production. Support technology transfers, process validations, and scale‑up activities to ensure successful integration into manufacturing
