Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Process/Industrial Engineering or another engineering field
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Self-motivated and works well with or without supervision.
Good organizational skills and a methodical approach to work.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate testing instruments, tools, computers, and various pieces of office equipment.
Detail-oriented, able to read and interpret drawings, BOMs, options, shop details, etc.
Must have a good attendance record and have a strong sense of personal responsibility.
Personal computer skills required.
Ability to work safely.
Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
Proficiency in data analysis and technical software (Excel, Power Apps, Power Automate, Process Simulation software).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience developing, implementing, and sustaining new or improved manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, throughput, and cost performance.

Responsibilities

Assess and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Develop and implement process optimization strategies using tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and 5s
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, operations and safety, to resolve technical issues.
Evaluate and integrate new technologies or automation to streamline workflows.
Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to address inefficiencies and defects.
Determine and track departmental goals.
Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Drive initiatives such as 5S, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to foster a culture of operational excellence.
Maintain detailed records, including SOPs, process maps, and troubleshooting guides for consistent operations.
Provide technical guidance and training to operators and team members to enhance process understanding.
