About The Position

Summer Process Engineer Intern As an IFF Process Engineering intern, you’ll make a measurable contribution to several projects while working with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, managers, and technicians. You will gain practical experience using real-world applications in our biotechnology manufacturing plant. Your intern project may involve: - Pilot scale testing and data analysis for large scale process improvements - Analysis of process data to support process changes - Implementation of new raw materials & material and energy optimization - Equipment design and costing for small scale capital projects Interns at IFF Health and Biosciences receive a competitive hourly wage and provide their own transportation and housing during the 12-week summer internship program. Requirements

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Biological Systems Engineering
Preferably at least a sophomore in an undergraduate bachelor’s degree program
High level of initiative and the ability to work in a fast paced, highly collaborative team environment
Microsoft Office experience – especially Microsoft Excel
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
Available to complete the entire assignment
Have the right to work in the U.S. without restriction
