About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Process Engineer II to support and optimize our manufacturing operations for dental consumables. This role is key to sustaining production equipment and processes, investigating and resolving non-conformances, and driving improvements through engineering change orders. You will also play a critical role in establishing and managing outsourced vendor manufacturing and quality plans. Additionally, you’ll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen and 5S, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to promote operational excellence. Success in this position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and clear communication, along with the flexibility for occasional domestic travel (up to 10%). PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports the sustainment of production equipment and existing manufacturing processes. This includes gathering use requirements, equipment specifications, quotes, procurement activities, and validations. Establishes outsourced vendor manufacturing and quality plans. Maintains an understanding of all current manufacturing processes and identifies targets for improvement via collection/trending and analysis of operational data. Leads small projects based on identified opportunities. Provides support to Senior and above Engineers for projects of greater complexity. Provides support for Utilizes Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) methodologies when driving continuous improvement initiatives. Actively participates in continuous improvement activities including but not limited to Kaizen and 5S events, Problem Solving Process, Value Stream Mapping, and Transaction Process Improvement. Effectively collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives. Adheres to all company policies and procedures including safety and quality. Travels up to 10% domestically. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields required.
2+ years of relevant work experience in a regulated manufacturing environment; medical device industry highly desired.
Knowledge in troubleshooting automation equipment.
Intermediate Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with finished goods packaging methods and best practices preferred.
Strong knowledge of chemical-based production processes related to composite compounding and powder processing.
Ability to manage complex projects.
Aptitude to quickly learn business systems.
Experience in applying lean concepts/tools.
Strong verbal and technical written communication skills, and presentation skills in English.
Ability to build strong partnerships with other departments.
