About The Position

Are you the person everyone calls when the network hiccups? Do you enjoy building rock-solid infrastructure and mentoring others along the way? If designing secure networks, managing patches before they become incidents, and keeping cloud security humming gets you excited — this role was built for you. We’re looking for a Network Infrastructure Lead who’s equal parts technical expert, strategic thinker, and team leader. You’ll help design and maintain the backbone of our organization while ensuring our systems stay secure, reliable, and future-ready.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of network infrastructure experience
  • Strong knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and design principles
  • Experience with enterprise patch management tools
  • Familiarity with Zscaler or similar cloud security platforms

Nice To Haves

  • Bonus points for certifications like CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Zscaler certs

Responsibilities

  • Network Design & Strategy Design, document, and implement scalable network infrastructure solutions
  • Plan and execute network expansions (hardware, topology, and all the fun diagrams)
  • Keep network documentation and SOPs clean, current, and useful
  • Scout emerging technologies and help shape what infrastructure looks like tomorrow
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of every device touching the network — including end-user machines
  • Develop and manage patch schedules for OS, firmware, and applications
  • Test updates before they go live (because surprise outages are nobody’s favorite)
  • Track compliance and provide reporting leadership can actually understand
  • Ensure updates roll out with minimal disruption to productivity
  • Administer and optimize our Zscaler environment
  • Manage policies, access controls, and performance monitoring
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues like a pro
  • Generate reports on traffic, security events, and policy compliance
  • Monitor network hardware health and performance
  • Troubleshoot issues and partner with the Network Administrator on connectivity changes
  • Participate in change management (yes, we believe in doing it right)
  • Communicate clearly with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
  • Mentor and support junior team members (we value knowledge-sharing)
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and keep projects moving forward
  • Stay calm, adaptable, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Take ownership of outcomes — reliability and security matter here
