Process Engineer - Continuous Improvement

About The Position

The Process Engineering position requires a self-motivated, skilled engineer to develop and implement efficient production processes. The candidate should be familiar with electromechanical assembly and functional testing as well as be able to utilize software for planning and simulating production processes. The position also requires a hands-on approach to learning and analysis along with the ability to work with people of all skill levels.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
Experience as an Electrical Process or Test Engineer or similar role
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and project management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point is a necessity

Nice To Haves

Experience with manufacturing electrical test equipment preferred
Experience with designing specialized test equipment a plus.

Responsibilities

Developing, planning, and implementing new process controls to maintain quality
Performing analysis assembly and testing processes to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborating with design engineers to optimize product design for efficient manufacturing
Creating detailed work instructions and training employees’ new processes
Addressing and troubleshooting issues that may arise during production
Makes recommendations for improvements in products in terms of improved cost and quality.
Trains and instructs other workers as assigned
Always maintain a clean safe work area
Complies with company rules, policies, and procedures. Reports any problems circumstances to manager
May, on occasion, perform other related duties to aid other teams on request
