Process Engineer (Blow Molding)   Position Summary The Process Engineer is responsible for the full scope of the blow molding process, ensuring that all production and quality standards meet or exceed customer requirements. This hands‑on role encompasses process establishment and optimization, troubleshooting, tooling and machine setup, robot programming, continuous improvement, and support for design and process development. The Process Engineer plays a key role in maintaining efficient operations and supporting new and existing production processes through technical expertise and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, monitor, and maintain process parameters to ensure production efficiency, product quality, and adherence to customer specifications.
  • Ensure customer requirements are consistently met, including: Setting and maintaining quality objectives Managing corrective and preventive actions Conducting capacity analysis Supporting logistics and customer communication Managing customer scorecards and customer portals
  • Coordinate all process development activities at the plant level, including: New product and tooling design Prototyping Scheduling and project coordination APQP process management Documentation and reporting
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and corrective action activities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and ensure long-term process stability.
  • Coordinate and support troubleshooting and repair of production equipment and blow molding machinery.
  • Perform basic robot programming to support automation needs and ensure smooth production flow.
  • Coordinate, execute, and validate tooling changes and machine setup activities to ensure readiness for production.
  • Maintain detailed process documentation and support audits.
  • Assist in training production personnel on process standards and best practices.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives across the plant.
  • Participate in special engineering projects as assigned.
  • Provide technical guidance to production teams during off-shifts when necessary.
