Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering,
  • Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, including hands-on experience with DCS systems (e.g., Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell, Yokogawa, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of process automation, instrumentation, and control strategies.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and optimizing batch processes.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of ISA standards and cybersecurity best practices for control systems.
  • Experience working in a Process Safety Management (PSM) environment preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • DeltaV experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with MES systems with SAP integration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support and lead projects to improve reliability, safety, and performance of the site’s DCS.
  • Develop and implement advanced control strategies for batch processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to implement best practices in automation.
  • Lead deployment and continue site support of Smart Factory and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and ensure seamless integration with SAP.
  • Collaborate with IT and regional teams to enhance production, material handling, and logistics functions.
  • Support digitalization initiatives to enhance real-time data visibility and decision-making.
  • Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives by supporting OEE deployment, leveraging digital tools to develop and track world-class KPIs.
