As a Process Control Systems Engineer supporting the Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) Program, you will play a critical role in implementing real-time fault detection models that monitor the fab process and equipment health. The primary goal of our FDC systems are to proactively identify and reduce process variation, ensuring optimal equipment performance and process integrity. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Process and Equipment Engineers to identify key sensors and features for monitoring and to drive automated closed-loop corrective actions. Your work will directly contribute to improving process and product quality and manufacturing efficiency. You will also partner regularly with cross-functional teams—including IT, Process Integration, and Data Science Teams—to design and deploy scalable control strategies that transition seamlessly from technology development to high-volume manufacturing.
