The Senior Process Coach position is a lead supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training, development, and opportunity for career progression. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 + years of supervisory and manufacturing experience
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead with integrity while following
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations
  • Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers
  • Highly committed to continuous improvement, while applying innovative solutions with a customer first mindset
  • Create a culture of safety and apply and implement workplace policies
  • Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively
  • Values different opinions & is open to ideas & perspectives from others
  • Ability to work weekends and rotate shifts, as required by the business

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Safety and quality experience
  • Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified
  • Knowledge of constraint management principles
  • Prior experience managing a unionized workforce

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Safety and Compliance
  • Lead Quality initiatives
  • Facilitate Shift Briefings / Kickoff Meetings
  • Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements
  • Walk the Floor (Gemba Walk) to ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts
  • Manage Workflow Optimization
  • Drive continuous improvement to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through servant leadership as we drive for success
  • Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams
