About The Position

Banesco USA is seeking a Process Analyst - AI & Automation for our Business Process Unit. As our organization accelerates its digital evolution, we are moving toward intelligent, AI-driven orchestration. We are seeking a Process Analyst - AI & Automation to serve as the strategic architect of our workflows. In this role, you won't just 'fix' processes; you will reimagine them. You will sit at the intersection of business strategy and cutting-edge technology, acting as the critical link between the business and technical AI developers to identify automation opportunities and ensuring that our AI initiatives are not siloed experiments, but interconnected solutions that drive long-term value. If you have the analytical rigor of a Lean/Six Sigma expert and the visionary mindset of an AI strategist, we want to hear from you!

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in Process Improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, or BPM) with a proven track record in AI/Automation projects.
  • Languages: Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Systems Thinking: Proven ability to map end-to-end value streams, identify dependencies, and look at the "whole picture" rather than individual tasks.
  • AI Fluency: High-level understanding of AI capabilities (LLMs, NLP) and Automation (RPA, Low-code) without requiring programming skills.
  • Risk Literacy: Risk-aware mindset regarding data integrity and process controls.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage complex, cross-departmental processes with extreme precision. Effective listener with good analytical skills and the ability to extract "tacit knowledge" from users who may not realize they are following a specific logic pattern
  • Emotional Intelligence: Skilled at interviewing stakeholders and managing the "fear of automation" within teams.
  • Resilience & Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity; able to pivot process designs as technology capabilities or business priorities change.
  • Communication: Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills in order to detect and identify weaknesses in the bank’s systems and the ability to identify the root cause of the weakness.
  • Ability to multi-task, with strong organization, time-management and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong customer service skills, ensuring satisfaction of both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work and complete task producing high quality results within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Discovery & Interviewing: Conduct deep-dive interviews with process owners and stakeholders to uncover manual bottlenecks, data gaps, and operational inefficiencies, as well as map manual decision-making processes, identifying "low-variability" tasks ideal for AI automation vs. "high-judgment" tasks requiring human oversight.
  • Analysis and Process Design: Adopt a systemic approach to identify the end-to-end process and friction points. Document "As-Is” and “To-Be” workflows, business requirements, KPIs for post-implementation performance tracking, and any additional supporting artifacts.
  • Value Management & Continuous Improvement: Quantify the potential impact of improvements—including FTE savings, cycle time/waste reduction, and error mitigation. Define KPIs for efficiency and reports to track performance. Establish a permanent feedback loop where automation performance data triggers ongoing process refinements.
  • Strategic Roadmap: Balance "quick win" automations with the need for scalable, robust process architecture. Help leadership prioritize the backlog by distinguishing foundational improvements from "hype" projects.
  • Tool Orchestration: Recommend optimal technology solution (RPA, BPM, GenAI/LLMs). Ensure all AI developments are connected to the broader enterprise ecosystem, avoiding "siloed" solutions that create technical debt.
  • Support Change Management: Partner with Change Management Lead to advocate for the user and monitor post-deployment effectiveness, usability, and model drift.
  • Responsible for completing annual training program assigned.
  • Performs other functions and/or duties as assigned.
