About The Position

The Procedure Support Assistant is an integral part of the Radiology procedural team in providing support to patient, providers and staff. This individual assists with all procedure aspects in planning and caring for patient's care, comfort, and safety prior to the procedure, during the procedure, and post procedure and performs in a manner consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health System's (MCHS) mission, policies, and initiatives while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

• Graduate of a medical assistant or licensed practical nurse program.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
• One of the following certifications: Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Surgical Technologist certification, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN) license awarded by the State of Wisconsin.
