About The Position

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia is a professional medical organization
committed to the healing mission of Medicine. CCP specializes in providing
comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the
Philadelphia area. We are currently hiring for a full-time Procedure Scheduler
Coordinator to work at our Paoli, PA location.

Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Cardiology experience is a plus
• Knowledge of Hospital and Procedure scheduling
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Must be detail oriented and well organized

Responsibilities

• Register all patients in Athena for accurate scheduling and billing
• Schedule all testing ordered during the Pre Admission Testing Appointments
• Coordinate with surgical team to report testing results timely for clearances
• Escalate pending studies to office managers and/or physicians for timely sign off and turnaround
• Schedule hospital cardiac catheterizations with local coordinators
• Import all external documents into EMR for patients scheduled for testing
• Obtain insurance referrals when required for upcoming testing appointments
• Other duties as assigned
