Job Description: Assist process and equipment engineers with developing and implementing equipment, hardware, and process programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and process control. Maintain effective communications between test engineering, product engineering, test technicians and production specialists to insure optimal group functionality. Help identify and correct any chronic problem areas. Coordinate equipment and process activities with PPE and EEG and Production leads to minimize production delays. Provide necessary data for decision making and work with equipment suppliers to improve data collection. Maintain a high degree of expertise within the group by assisting in the training and development of production personnel on higher level skills. Participate in the product and equipment transfers. Perform basic soldering of surface-mount components Maintain quality and safety standards in all tasks Support team objectives and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • AA or 3+ years directly related work experience is desired.
  • Experience working in Probe and Test as an elevated and high functioning Specialist on the probe floor.
  • High level knowledge of the probe and test area, equipment used, processes, setup troubleshooting, systems and applications.
  • Experience working closely with PPE and TE’s to solve probing problems.
  • Good communication, planning, organizational & interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment, carrying out multiple projects at a time.
  • Positive can-do attitude with a lot of energy to break down barriers and tackle problems.
  • Ability to prioritize, schedule, and focus on multiple projects in parallel.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
