About The Position

Monitor system performance using key metrics and promptly investigating and resolving tool issues and fault detection alarms to ensure optimal availability. Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on probe test cells and support equipment; accurately document all activities. Apply systematic problem-solving skills using the Effective Problem-Solving (EPS) framework to identify root causes and apply corrective/preventive actions. Follow all safety and work procedures while applying creative, independent thinking when appropriate. Coordinate tool installation and qualification while collaborating with internal Probe teams and external partners. Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, applying knowledge of AC/DC circuits, basic electronic components, and strong mechanical proficiency to ensure optimal equipment performance. Stand for long periods, walk several miles per shift, lift 25-40 lbs occasionally, and perform tasks requiring bending, crouching, or kneeling while navigating safely over uneven terrain or within confined spaces to perform job duties effectively. Maintain situational awareness to identify hazards promptly and consistently wear required PPE (e.g. cleanroom garments, eye protection) to protect product quality and maintain a safe, contamination-free environment.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in relevant technical fields such as Mechatronics, Electronics, or Robotics and/or 2 years of experience in maintaining manufacturing equipment, automation, and/or technical military experience
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 days on/4 days off and 4 days on/3 days off), progress between day and night shifts every 4 months, and adapt to different shifts and overtime as needed to support business operations
  • 2 years of experience in using mechanical, electronic, and PC/software skills to fix and resolve manufacturing equipment issues
  • 4+ years' experience in maintaining manufacturing equipment, automation, and/or technical military experience
  • 4+ years' experience in leading projects related to manufacturing equipment maintenance and improvement, with a focus on meeting scope, schedule, and budget requirements
  • Knowledge of AC/DC circuits
  • Basic electronic components
  • Strong mechanical proficiency
  • Ability to stand for long periods, walk several miles per shift, lift 25-40 lbs occasionally, and perform tasks requiring bending, crouching, or kneeling while navigating safely over uneven terrain or within confined spaces
