YOUR ROLE: As our Probate Litigation Paralegal , you'll support attorneys with litigation tasks, research, drafting, filings, and case management. Strong legal writing and research skills are essential.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a paralegal in the field of litigation is a requirement for this Probate Litigation Paralegal position.
  • A strong understanding of legal principles and procedures relevant to probate litigation is a must-have qualification.
  • Proficiency in using legal research tools and software to analyze cases effectively is essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are prerequisites for the position.
  • The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines efficiently is the key qualification for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research on relevant case laws, statutes, and regulations for civil litigation matters at a law firm in Coral Gables, FL, US.
  • Assess and summarize legal documents to aid attorneys in case preparation.
  • Draft, revise, and review legal paperwork, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests for probate litigation cases.
  • Maintain meticulous organization of case files to ensure accurate and timely document filing.
  • Coordinate document production, including preparing exhibits and materials for depositions, in collaboration with the legal team.
